Amphion Loudspeakers Unveils One18X and Two18X – New Monitoring Benchmark for the Headphone & Multichannel-listening Era

The new One18X and Two18X series introduces significant performance upgrades, yet preserves the design legacy that has made the original One18 and Two18 iconic.

Featuring a precise yet smooth, high extension tweeter and a newly engineered crossover, these monitors deliver enhanced clarity, resolution, and transient precision and contribute further to the industry leading translation, which Amphion is known for.

“The tweeter update addresses the increasing popularity of multichannel and headphone/earbud listening. The ultra-low distortion, linearity, and pinpoint imaging of the new tweeter ensure perfect translation to headphones, and allow the user to create impeccable immersive and coherence for multichannel formats like Dolby Atmos.”, said Anssi Hyvonen, the Founder of Amphion,  “Despite the growth of headphone listening a good monitoring chain remains invaluable, as evaluating the song’s energy transfer is best done by a device, which moves us emotionally as well as physically.”

In addition to the acoustic upgrades, both models now feature a new scratch-resistant, low-emission paint. The result is a slightly deeper, richer black that subtly enhances both durability and environmental responsibility.

Both models are available globally starting August 2025 through Amphion’s network of pro audio partners.
